Welcome to Annie E. Fales Elementary School

Dear Fales Friends,

As we enter the cold and wintry month of February, we begin to prepare for our celebration of Read Across America Day. This year Fales students and staff will celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss and Read Across America Day on Friday, March 1st.
--The morning will begin with all students reciting a "Readers' Oath" in unison during our School Meeting.
--Later in the day each classroom will be visited by a Community Reader who will share a special book with the students. The book that is read will also be added to the classroom library! It is such a wonderful treat to have a special visitor read to the children! We are so thankful to our wonderful Westborough Community for sharing their time with our students!

--Students and staff are invited to wear Dr. Seuss gear to school on Friday, if you have items at home. There is no need to purchase a costume for this event. Students and adults may also wear their Fales SPIRIT wear.

--A BIG THANK YOU to Miss Finn and Mrs. Ramos for organizing the Community Reader visits!

--We are looking forward to this celebration filled day!
